Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens
Washington, DC - Park
Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens is much more than a museum, it is also a mansion and our favorite, beautiful gardens. There is a Japanese Garden, formal French Parterre, Cut Flower Garden, Rose Garden, Greenhouses and more! An estate, museum and gardens in Georgetown. Founded by Marjorie Post wit h13 acres of beautiful formal gardens. We took my daughter years ago when she was a toddler and I would definitely say it is kid-friendly! The mansion is filled with treasures you may need to keep a hold of your little one’s hands but other than that, its a magical world nestled next to Rock Creek Park in Northwest DC!
