A National Park Service park which is actually an island where the Potomac River, Washington Channel and Anacostia River all come together. Hains Point is the southern tip named for the US Army Corps of Engineer who designed the Tidal Basin. 2 Playgrounds, picnic pavilions and an approx. 3 mile loop great for walking, cycling, roller skating or with a stroller because all paved.
