Jennie Dean Park
Jennie Dean Park is a new and great playground along Four Mile Run with so much to explore. Great little kids area and big kids area that’s all fenced. ✅ Fenced (but 3 entrances just FYI) ✅ Clean new restrooms next to playground 🚻 ✅ Shade 6 canopies!! ✅ Astroturf ✅ Cool “hammock” type swing ✅ Lots of parking. 🅿️ Even though park was busy of a beautiful Friday night, plenty of parking all along S. Four Mile Run. ✅ Swinging benches, tennis courts and athletic fields. ✅ near Weenie Beenie with a walk-up window known for BBQ Sausage sandwiches and hot dogs. (Also had their chocolate cake on a whim and DELICIOUS!)

Clemijontri Playground
Clemijontri Playground is one of the most popular playgrounds in the area located in McLean near Vienna and Tysons Corner. Its HUGE with rainbow themed and all very accessible. There is an entire transportation area, musical instruments area, rainbow color themed area and even a maze. I will say as a parent because its such a large playground, you are constantly moving along with the kids and keeping track of them! More in the link below!

Patrick Henry School Playground, Alexandria, Virginia
Patrick Henry School Playground in Alexandria, Virginia is a very cool spot along with the Patrick Henry Rec Center. There are actually 3 playgrounds at this one location. A toddler one down the steps, a cool big kids one next to the rec center and then the school one (when not in session) which is very space-station-esque! More from our visit below.
