About Beauvoir Playground in Washington DC
As a mom with two kids living in the DMV area, I absolutely adore the Beauvoir Playground in DC! This place is beautifully nature-inspired, challenging, terraced, and simply huge. It's part of the National Cathedral Elementary School, so it is only open on non-school days and from 6 PM to Dusk on school days.
One of the things that caught my eye was a tiny coin-sized sign indicating that the playground equipment was from a German company. It has that unique European feel! My kids were thrilled with the challenging areas, especially the fastest slide they've ever been on. There are also plenty of spaces perfect for the little ones.

Fun Features of Beauvoir Playground
It's hard to pick just one favorite part of this playground. Maybe for me it's all the imaginative play areas, like the caves and rocks, or the stone gargoyles. But for my kids it was definitely the zip line!! Also, the main slide is very very fast! My son shot out and landed on his bum so be there to catch little ones :)

Beauvoir Playground DC Hours
