Brookside Gardens is a must-see spot in Montgomery County with 50 acres of planned gardens including a Children's Garden, Rose Garden, Formal Garden Aquatic Garden and more! They also have a lovely holiday lights display and are located right next to Wheaton Regional Park with some of the coolest slides, mini train and carousels!

We had so much fun meeting up with my friend and her 2 year old for this Worth-the-Drive-Wednesday! Everyone wore masks and there was plenty of space to play “together” spaced out at this Art Deco amusement park that was open from 1900 to 1968.

Terrapin Beach Nature Area is a cool park on the Chesapeake Bay on Kent Island Maryland. here is a 15 minute walk from the Terrapin parking lot to the beach through a pretty forest and marsh. Note: Some seasons, swimming is not allowed.
