Eastern Market for DC Kids is a great destination! It is the oldest market in Washington DC with Indoor and Outdoor Markets. Incredible pancakes at The Market Lunch and always delicious goodies, flowers and arts and crafts. My kids have great memories getting peaches in the summer, apples in the fall, strolling indoor in the Winter and early strawberries in the spring. (Also a great playground a couple blocks away at 9th and Penn Ave. SE.)
