We had the best time at a private Alpaca farm visit in Broad Run, Virginia today! Heidi runs the family farm and wonderfully shares with others her love for these adorable animals! ⁣ We all learned so much as Heidi is very knowledgeable about each of her 11 Alpaca’s personalities. (Cool fact: if there’s a predator, the head of the herd will try to scare it away and if not, it will lay down and sacrifice itself for its herd family).⁣ ⁣ The best part of the time was seeing my kids run and play freely and having quiet moments feeding the Alpacas. They are an appointment-only farm.
