Planet Word Tickets
Reserving Planet Word tickets is easy and they are FREE!
Simply reserve your free pass at their website. There is a suggested donation of $15 but it is completely free to book. Planet Word is a super interactive museum about language with secret doors, immersive language experiences and beautiful exhibits. My review is below.

Planet Word Review
Planet Word is my kids new favorite museum in DC! Our favorite parts were:
✔️ Paint with Words
✔️ Secret Room in Library
✔️ Karaoke (amazing playlist to choose from)
✔️ Photo Booth with fun words
✔️ Interactive Books
✔️ Make your own Ads
✔️ Best intro/interactive museum video I’ve ever seen. (Kids speak into a microphone to change the intro video!)
⭐️ The museum staff was amazing telling my kids, “you can use your indoor or outdoor voice and touch any of the exhibits!” Also, start on the 3rd floor and work your way down as they suggest.

Planet Word Details (Tickets, Parking, Hours, Metro)
📍925 13th St NW, Washington, DC 20005
$ Free! Reserving free tix is recommended but the staff said they take walk ins just on busy times (weekends) you might need to wait until the half hour to enter.
⏰Open Wednesday to Monday 10 AM to 5 PM (closed Tuesdays)
🚻 Restrooms on each floor.
🅿️ We went on a weekday so street parking was harder to find and since we were running late, I went ahead and parked at the closest parking garage next to the museum at 1225 I St NW (but entrance on 13th between Devon and Blakley and the Museum) No attendant so you just pay online. $10 for first hour $20 for 2 or more hours.
🚇 McPherson Square Metro is one block away on the other side of Franklin Park on the 🟠🔵lines.
♿️Very wheelchair/stroller friendly with elevators to each floor.
😷 About half of us were masked and most of the staff if I remember correctly.
