Sandy Point State Park Beach

Park in Annapolis, MD | Outdoors | For Kids of All Ages

Sandy Point State Park Beach is a huge sandy beach along the Chesapeake Bay with fishing and swimming. It's great for those of us in the DMV because you don't have to go over the Bay Bridge to get to it (unlike Terrapin Beach on Kent Island)

Germantown Splash Park

Germantown Splash Park is an awesome splash pad at South Germantown Rec Park! It has a 28-jet water maze, spraying animals and more! And check out the Splash Park Mini Golf next door.

Carroll Creek Park

Carroll Creek Park

Carroll Creek Park is beautiful with a canal, and bridges and is like a mini Venice in Maryland! We parked at the Carroll Creek Garage ($2 for 3 hours) and walked along Carroll Creek Park. My kids called this the Bridges Town after we went on 5 in one walk! Stone bridge, suspension bridge, covered bridge, and more! All ♿️ accessible except the stone bridge. Continued along the canals (and bridges!) to Culler Lake and the Carroll Creek Covered Bridge. Photos and a full itinerary are in the Instagram link below.
