The Comus Inn: A Hidden Gem in the Maryland Countryside
I’d heard so many great things about The Comus Inn from friends, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Nestled near the rolling hills of Sugarloaf Mountain, this beautiful property feels like a peaceful escape without being too far from D.C. The setting is stunning—open fields, rustic charm, and those sweeping mountain views that make you want to stay all day.
The Inn has something for everyone. There’s a world-class restaurant with seasonal dishes that celebrate local ingredients, a craft beer garden that’s perfect for relaxing on a sunny afternoon, and even a marketplace with fresh baked goods and unique gifts. What really stood out to me was how kid-friendly it is—plenty of open space for little ones to run around, games, and a welcoming atmosphere for families.
Definitely check out their Instagram for a peek at the food, views, and overall vibe—those photos are what convinced me to visit in the first place!
