Fall Festival at Butler's Orchard MD Review
We had a wonderful time at Butler's Orchard for their Fall Festival! We loved all the activities, friendly staff, food options (apple cider slushy!) and animals. Below are some photos and a map.

Favorite Parts of Butler's Orchard MD
- The Slides! They have 4 barrel slides of various lengths and speeds and you use a provided burlap sack for each. They were SO much fun! The longest one was faster than I expected lol.
- The Hayloft was surprisingly a hit with my kids! Its a huge barn with maybe 2 feet of fresh hay and lots of hay bales to jump from. My kids played for over half an hour.
- Magic Straw Maze is not to be missed! We had a blast :)

View from the top of the slides. Red barn is the Hayloft.
The Food at Butler's Orchard
We all really liked the food options including pizza, hot dogs, BBQ and festival food. There are 3 main spots to get food:
- The Farmer's Porch: Pizza, sandwiches, French fries, chicken tender basket, house-made chili, brats and more. This is where we got the WARM Apple Cider Donuts (1 for $1.16, 6 for $7 and Apple Cider Slushie ($3)!
- Tubby's BBQ: Available on weekends and smelled declines!
- Kettle Corn Stand
- Doc Waters Cidery: Available on weekends and required valid ID.

Apple Cider Donuts were WARM and Apple Cider Slushie was delicious!
Tips for Your Visit to Butler's Orchard
- Book tickets online because you can save $3 a ticket!
- Check their website to make sure of opening hours. In 2022 it is Tuesday - Sunday 9 AM to 6 PM.
- Stay a little later if you can. The farm was maybe 75% less crowded around 4 PM and we didn't have to wait for any thing!
- The best restrooms were the trailer ones behind the bouncy Hill Top Hops.
- They have a separate bouncy Hill Top Hop for younger kids which is so great because I worry about them with the big kids!
- There are 3 options for Pumpkins:
- Drive to the actual Pumpkin Patch (there are signs)
- Shop pre-picked pumpkins at the Festival Market which is in the Festival.
- Check out the Pumpkin Yard at the Farm Market for pre-picked pumpkins.
