Montpelier Farms
Upper Marlboro, MD - Farm
We had a fun time at Montpelier Farms in Upper Marlboro and I would recommend especially for younger kids (ages 0-10) and if its close to you. I was surprised it was just 45 mins from us in Fairfax County, closer than some of the ‘northern-er’ Virginia farms! The only thing to be aware of is their Add-On model. This made the day a little less fun because my kids were naturally asking to do all the activities (which would have cost a lot/require trips back to the ticket booth!) ADD ONs - I chose the Rubber Duck Race ($2pp), 🎃 Pumpkin Chunkin’ Slingshot ($3pp) and 🦙Animal Feed ($1pp). I passed on the Gem Mining ($7), Jumping Pillow ($2pp), Pumpkin Painting ($6) and Face Painting (vendor). 3 Notes: Pumpkin Chunkin’ was small pumpkins so they didn’t go splat. Don’t get animal feed because the animals were not hungry. And check website as there are differences between weekend and weekday events.
