Parking near the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia can be difficult with a shortage of street parking, lots of tourists, and horse and carriage stations....but I have a great spot to share from our recent trip! Location, Rates, and Hours below!

Parking Garage Across from the Liberty Bell
If you are driving into Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, one of the most convenient places to park is directly across the street. The Independence Visitor Center Parking Garage at 14 S 6th Street, Philadelphia, PA is an underground garage that puts you right in the middle of the action. Once you park, all you have to do is walk up to street level, cross 6th Street, and you will be standing in front of the Liberty Bell Center entrance.
Something to note: on Google Maps, the Liberty Bell Center stretches about two blocks, which can make it a little tricky to know exactly where to go. The Liberty Bell itself is located at the southern end of the building, closer to Chestnut Street than Market Street. If you enter near Chestnut Street, you’ll be right where you need to be.
When we visited on a busy weekend, this parking garage saved us a lot of time. We were able to park, walk across the street, view the Liberty Bell, and return to our car all within about 30 minutes. The easy access makes it especially helpful if you’re visiting with kids, grandparents, or anyone who would appreciate keeping walking to a minimum.
